WP Multisite – different DB rather than prefix

    Hello,

    Thank you for a great product.

    I run multisite and it seems each site has its own key-prefix. I find that when a flush occurs there is a large load on the DB as the redis cache is reformed.

    It it sensible and possible to run each sub-site as its own DB. My setup as 22 websites and my average redis cache size is around 900mb. If so can the blod-id be used as the DB number ? if so how.

    Hi Dean,

    Unfortunately that currently not possible, since there are global cache groups that are shared across the network sites, such as users.

    I have been thinking about this problem however in regards to Object Cache Pro and supporting several Redis connections. My suspicion is that until Relay is available having several connections (at least two in your case) would slow things down a bit.
