    Hello Support,
Every day, between 19h and 21h (Zurich time zone), the WP-Optimize v3.3.2 plugin (WordPress v6.5.3) cycles the files for caching. The server resource utilization is so high that often the website is down due to error 429 Too Many Requests. If I have installed new plugins and the page cache has been cleared, the website is certainly down. I have been monitoring this problem for weeks. If I disable the WP-Optimize plugin, there is no problem with excessive resource usage.
I need to find a solution quickly or I will be forced to install another cache management plugin.
    Let me know,
    Yann

    Hi,

Apologies, I posted a reply to this yesterday (twice!) but it’s not showing here.

Can you try the following, one at a time

Can you try unchecking the option to “Enable admin bar menu” in the settings tab, does this help?

Can you try turning minify off, does this affect your resource usage?

Does the issue occur when you do a Preload? Can you run a preload and see if this causes issues with your resources? If so I can give you some filters to throttle the preload so you do not reach your limits.

    Hi Support,
    Thanks for your reply.
For two weeks I performed the tests you suggested.

I uncheck the “Enable admin bar menu” option but nothing has changed.
I currently left it unchecked because I don’t use it anyway.

    I turned off the “Minify”.
I got a better perfomance of the website, which is faster in opening pages…I thought otherwise!
Currently I have left Minify off because it performs better.
But unfortunately it did not solve the problem of excessive resource load.

I then tried to execute the “Preload” and the problem immediately occurred!
I have been testing for several days and it is confirmed.
So, Preload is the cause of the excessive resource usage, which puts the website down for hours!

Please suggest a solution otherwise I will be forced to uninstal WP-Optimize.
    Let me know.
    Best regards,
    Yann

    Hi,
Without response from you I am forced to uninstall the plugin and purchase WP-Rocket.
    Please let me know.

    Hi Yann,

    Apologies for the delayed response.

Thank you for your insights. The high server resource utilization issue during preloading can be managed by processing the preload in batches. Unfortunately, WP-Optimize does not provide an option to set custom batch numbers for preloading by default.

However, I can share a custom code solution that might help resolve this issue by preloading the cache in smaller, more manageable batches. Please let me know if you’d like to proceed with this custom solution.

    Hi Mansour,
Yes, I accept this customized solution.
Let me know how you want to proceed.
