I cannot fix this issue, as I do not get any error message, but all of my images ere converted to .webp but WP-Optimize does not serve the webp-images. Developer tools tell me that the Mime type would be webp but all images are the original .png or .jpg files. Any idea how to fix it?

O.k. I think I misunderstood how it works. I see all the images with their original ending like .jpg or .png, but when I try to download these seemingly no-webp images they are stored as .webp.

So this means everything works like expected, right?

I saw so many sites, which offer webp images that I would have expected to get Webp images in the URL, too.

    Hi,

It looks like the WebP images are created but not served (you should see webp on the end of your image URL)

Can you try clearing your Nginx cache?
