WP plugin updates failed

    Hello,

    I tried to update my WP site for several plugins. However, I receive the following message:

    Download failed. Problem with the SSL CA cert (path? access rights?).

    I don’t think this problem is plugin specific, because this message pops up randomly across different plugins and at different times when I make updates via my main site and to its sub-directory.

    I have the same problem, regardless of plugin update.
    Any update?

    Hi,

    After I contacted my hosting company, I found out that this was a server problem. I suggest that you contact your hosting provider.

    After I received the error messages, I waited a couple of hours after my first attempt and updated the plugins again and they updated!

    I did contact them…they didn’t seem to understand.
    What is it that they need to be aware of?
    Is it a permission thing?
