WP Privacy settings.

I have a lot of folks who are coming back to me furious after getting the wp set up and skinned that I did not tell them once they had it set up the way they want it, that they need to change the privacy settings.

Half a dozen or more are finding that the sites they built to house affiliate adverts are set to the default, which is apparently that search engines can’t crawl it. I’m seeing this all over the internet now.

Note to everyone. your default setting appears to be that your wordpress is private. Change that in settings so that you can be seen in the search engines.
