WP Rocket and GPS error
-
Hi,
I noticed with WPRocket and GPS activated, sometimes the site gives this error:
https://prnt.sc/1FU92u85gLflThink you may need to test
-
This is the error:
Hello,
It seams that missing WP Rocket function. We will investigate and do update ASAP.
how did it go ?
Fixed in the last update!
cheers, now I have found another small issue, here:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/security-plugins-block-tags-in-seo-titles/I have also noticed that WP Rocket is caching the first time viewers City, I viewed my site from MORUYA. I live in Moruya Australia, and my friend in London viewed my site and showed my town in the SEO Title as shown here:
https://prnt.sc/EhAZDTjO2ZSt
where is should have shown LONDONWhen I deactivate WP Rocket, it works as normal
Tags %%city%% in SEO Titles and Meta
Also shortcodes like [cfgeo_city] showing my same home town city and not the viewers city
Remember to rest with VPN in different country
Try with Ninja Firwwall FULL WAF then also Wordfence FULL WAF with WP Rocket Cache plugin

Jaso.
Hi. I seemed to get passed the above
BUT, with WP Rocket after the PRE-LOAD CACHE happens, the Geo does not function as normal, see link: https://prnt.sc/kxfsxeTfgNy_
I think you may need to test a bit more
Cheerz
JaseIt is very important that you disable “server cache” inside the cache plugin.
A server cache is a service that saves Web pages or other Internet content locally by placing previously requested information in temporary storage, or cache, that speeds up access to data and reduces demand on an enterprise’s bandwidth.
The cache plugins create a snapshot of every page on the site, save to static HTML files and serve instead of dynamic content. This option is good because it avoids excessive database queries and loading sites faster (not in all cases), but there are problems when it comes to dynamic content.
If we set up a geo location (which is dynamic for each visitor) and cache plugin make the snapshot, all users will see the same geo location that was created when that cache file was created, which is not good.
Our plugin uses JavaScript and AJAX to avoid this problem but due to the complexity of our plugin and because the cache plugin authors didn’t yet support our plugin, we have a sometime problem with plugin functionality.
The CF Geo Plugin team strives to compensate for this problem and support all existing plugins, but there is always something that may come as a surprise and where it is necessary for someone to support us as well.
Server Cache within WPRocket, looked everywhere, wheres that???
I must say, yr plugin slows down my website by at-least 70% when activated.
When deactivated, runs sooo fast 1 second load, but when activated, take like 3-4 seconds
And also, is this correct ????
Yes it is!
