Works great with everything except “Page Cache”. If you are running a plugin that does page caching then it won’t work correctly. Here is a post with more infos about compatible cache plugins. Let me know if any further questions, etc. Glad to help anytime.
Hmm I’m definitely using page caching with these integrations. So shouldn’t bother to activate this plugin or is still worth taking a chance?
No do not use with page cache enabled. The reason is that page caching effectively disables dynamic PHP functionality required for the plugin to check and block requests, etc.
Got it, unfortunately I cannot disable page caching.
Does the same apply to your other plugin BBQ Firewall? Can that somehow ‘replace’ this one?
BBQ is a firewall that protects against threats in general. Blackhole is a honey-pot style trap that blocks bad bots specifically. So they are very different in terms of what they are doing, etc.
