    Hello,

So I’m having issues after setting up this plugin. If I sign in through the phpBB forums, I’m logged in how I should be in both the forums and the WP site. I can access the admin boards of both pages. However, if I log in with the WP forms, then I cannot view the admin board of the forums after being asked to reauthenticate. Upon logging out of my admin account, log ins through WP don’t work at all (I’m immediately logged out as soon as I log in, with a strange redirect) until I refresh my browser cookies and cache.

Any help regarding this would be amazing. Thanks!

    This will resolve your problem:
    https://www.axew3.com/w3/2016/02/configure-phpbb-cookie-all-domain/
    in particular the part about
    # Force the reset of the plugin cookie setting

check to clean cookies on browser after these steps.

This seems to only work as a temporary fix. If you log on through WP after resetting the cookie domain, it initially works. However, if there’s a session where you login through WP and log out through phpBB forums, the cookies stop working properly again.

Ok, the file class.wp.w3all-phpbb.php has been patched to resolve a missed var value into session set function and logout-
The problem has been fixed and 1.8.3 will be released to make clear this important fix.
if you want download just the patched class.wp.w3all-phpbb.php and replace, do it here:
    https://plugins.trac.ww.wp.xz.cn/browser/wp-w3all-phpbb-integration/trunk

    P.s 1.8.3 has been released

Apologies for the late reply. I’d like to thank you for the fast support, as the new patch seems to have fixed the issues. I shall continue to test and play around with your plugin, and I’ll be sure to let you know if I find anything else that needs to be addressed. Good work!

    Yes please!

I suspect that more vars passed as GLOBALS into some function, can lose his value into some configuration: 1.8.4 will clean many lines of code, will fix issues about code flow and/or not useful and redundant instructions on it.

If any good idea for some option to add, it will be also included.
    Cheers!

I’d also be willing to help clean through your documentation in some of my free time since I’m a native English speaker. Let me know if you’d like to move forward with that 🙂

Can you register please, so i can setup your account as editor?
If you can do this, the plugin will be improved also here based on your edits, into this plugin documentation section. If you can give a cleanup for a correct documentation help would be great, and published as on your name … unfortunately i think, many are waiting for this from long time!
