I had WP 3.5.2 and NextGEN 2.0.0.
Then updated to WP 3.8 and NextGen 2.0.40.
After the update my site open the WP administration. But when i try to open preview of my site it just hangs and nothing could be opened. Even WP admin being stopped. It was a time when i got error 500. Still it was few times only.
But when i downgraded NextGEN Gallery to 2.0.33 the site became as new! started working as previous very smoothly.
Still i found some little bugs and now i am on NextGEN gallery 2.0.31. Hope it will work well!
@fatalissimo – I’m glad you site is working well now, but it seems there are still some issues that should be addressed.
We have a new release due out soon, you should update when it is released and if you are still having problems you should submit a Bug Report (http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/) with details of the issue(s) so we can try to help you sort them out.

Sure, i am interested in cooperation and could provide all necessary information to help you to solve any issue and make you product more reliable.
But i am quite new on WP and even with your product. I would appreciate if you could advice how to provide more proper report of any issue to you. May be there are any logs or something.
