Hello @whitewavex,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Is it possible to send us a screenshot with the error? We are not able to see it on our end. You can upload it here via Imgur.
Warmly,
Beatrice.
Hi @whitewavex,
The plugin works normally because it’s using the older, non encrypted credentials. To hide the notification please re-check your entered password and save the settings again.
Warmly,
Beatrice.
Hello. Maybe I didn’t express myself correctly. Sorry. After updating the plugin, this message appeared and the plugin stopped working. An authentication error occurred. I entered the username and password again. After that, the plugin began to perform its functions, but the notification did not disappear. What could be the reason?
Hi @whitewavex,
Cab you please delete user and password > Save > add user and password > Save > Send test email and let us know how it goes?
Warmly,
Beatrice.
Hello. Thank you for your help.
I did everything as you wrote, but nothing changed as a result. I am attaching a video of my actions.

Hello @whitewavex,
Please go to wp-admin/options.php from your admin and search for the wp_smtp_status option.
Please let us know what is written there. If you do not see this: encrypted please add it there and click on ‘Save’.
Warmly,
Beatrice.
Hi Beatrice.
I changed the setting of the wp_smtp_status option.
Now everything works fine. Thank you.
