    Hello,

I am recently in the process of taking the responsibility of managing our website over and found that the current website is very behind on updates and does not have a staging environment. I tried to use WP Staging Plugin to create a staging site to test these updates but when I activated the plugin after the install, the plugin options will not load and none of my other tools will load. For example, when the WP Staging Plugin is activated my ‘Users’ page will not load and neither will my Dashboard among other things. Please help me with how to create a Staging site to test these updates.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @lfehrenbach

With the WP STAGING plugin activated, can you reach this page (WP STAGING > System Info)? If yes, then please share this system information via this form and we will help you further from there.

    Thanks,
    Alaa

    Hello,

No, I cannot access system info while the plugin is activated.

This looks like a fatal error happening in the background.

Please contact us via this contact form, and we can get into a direct email conversation with you to help you to get this issue solved:

Activating the debug.log while wp staging is active for a second will write a helpful error message to a file wp-content/debug.log

We can see what’s causing this error if you send us that file.
We can optionally assist you in setting this up if you are unfamiliar with the WordPress debug mode.

Just contact us from the link above.
