WP Statistics worked correctly for many months but some time ago it stopped working properly. It shows hardly any traffic (GA Analytics shows a lot). I’ve already reinstalled the plugin. What also can be done about it?
The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
After reviewing your website, it seems that the visits are recorded in some browsers and not in the others.
Could you kindly navigate to Tools > Site Health > Info in your WordPress admin area and share the WP Statistics information with us? Kindly check this image as a reference: https://i.vgy.me/5lNMrE.png.
The issue might be from Do Not Track (DNT) option which respects the visitor’s browser setting to not track their web activity.
Kindly navigate to Statistics > Settings > Privacy & Data Protection in your WordPress admin area. You will find the Do Not Track (DNT) option under User Preferences.
Kindly note that disabling or enabling this option depends on your preferences. Privacy laws like GDPR do not mandate this feature, but activating it demonstrates a commitment to privacy.
If enabled, the information from visitors who prefer not to be tracked will not be collected.
After reviewing the requests on your website, I can confirm that they are not being successfully submitted, and as a result, the data is not being recorded properly.
I’ve already notified our team about this issue, and they are actively investigating the problem.
In the meantime, could you let us know if you are using any cache plugins?
We will mark this thread as “resolved” since we haven’t heard back from you in a while.
Additionally, it seems you have switched to the Server Side Tracking.
If the issue persists after switching back to the Client Side Tracking, or if you have any further questions, please feel free to reopen the thread or create a new one.
Thank you!
Regards, Matthew
