  • Hi @paulchapman1280,

Thank you for opening the thread!

We have identified an incompatibility between WP Statistics v14.10.1 and older versions of WordPress, and our development team is actively working on a fix.

In the meantime, we recommend ensuring that WordPress and all plugins are up to date, as updating WordPress should resolve both issues.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your continued support and understanding.

Many thanks for the quick response, @mhdizmni

Q1) Is it a simple process to revert back to an earlier release of WP Statistics?

Q2) Are the missing statistics safe, and will return once the fix is applied?

We are glad to be of help!

You can download previous versions of WP Statistics from this link (scroll to the bottom of the page) and install them.

As long as no data has been removed, there should be no issue, and your statistics will remain safe.

    Many thanks @mhdizmni

That’s very helpful, I dropped back one level until the fix is released.

    Dear @paulchapman1280,

We have released version 14.10.2, which addresses the “wp-statistics-post-summary” issue.

Please update the plugin to the latest version, and feel free to reach out if you encounter any further issues.

Thank you for your patience and understanding!

    Thanks, @mhdizmni

I tried, but Visitor info was missing again, after the update.

“The “Visitors” tab on the Visitor Insights page, says No recent data available.”

    So, I downgraded again.

    Hi @paulchapman1280,

    Hmm… That’s strange!

Could you please try clearing the cache, doing a hard reload (Ctrl + Shift + R), and checking the page in incognito mode? Let me know if that resolves the issue.

    Thank you!

    Best regards

I just updated plugin to latest, cleared cache, hard reload and checked in incognito mode, with same result. I was able to see #views, but when attempting to see the actual viewers the field was empty.

Strangely, there were a number of pages that I could progress through, like it knew how many results and therefore pages of data, but the data was not displayed. I have downgraded again, which works fine.

I will try again with a different computer browser that has not accessed the site again and report back.

    Thanks for your help,

    Paul
