WP Super Cache caching “Error establishing a database connection”

    I tought it is not possible, but sometimes there is an URL with cached “Error establishing database connection” content. Even the HTML source code contains comment markup with “Dynamic page was generated … Cached page generated by WP-Super-Cache … etc.” I can’t reproduce it now, but I know there was oddly high generation time. Like 80 seconds.

    But how is it possible that plugin caches that? It looks like dead_db() output that ends with PHP die() (wp-includes/functions.php).
