wp supercache and cloudflare auto updating problem

Hi,

Run into a strangeness that is likely a settings issue between wp supercache and cloudflare.

Have supercache set to preload files and turned off refresh as we have a large number of posts. We post 5 or so posts daily so the front page needs to be updated when a post is added.

Things were working fine until the recent wordpress 4.5 updates. Now the site fails to automatically update to cloudflare unless I clear the cloudflare cache.

It is likely I’m missing something but this is beyond my expertise.

Guidance would be most appreciated.
