WP User Import addon has not worked

    Hi

    I have used WP User Import addon in order to import Users (suscribers) from the WordPress to the WP Simple Membership Plugin.

    I guess something has gone wrong because I have tried to login 4-5 different suscribers using their username and pword and I always get the same message: Invalid pword.

    Is it possible something has been wrong in the import process?
    I mean, there is the same number of WordPress Users and WP Membership Members: 213. I can see they have the same username, email… But the password does not work.

    Are you referring to the following documentation? If you are, did you also import the password or did you set a default password for all imported users?

    in order to impor WordPress Users to Simple Membership

    Hi, can you carry out the following test. Create a new WP User, make sure this test user does not exist any where in your site. Then import that user using the above plugin/addon into the members area. Then try to login as the user you just imported using Simple Membership login form.

    Let me know what happens.

    Hi

    OK, I have carried out this test: it works.

    So sorry, I think maybe it is working but some users have changed their pwords.

    You’ll see: I import users and content from Joomla to WordPress using FG Joomla to WordPress. Then, I import WordPress Suscribers to Simple Membership using https://simple-membership-plugin.com/import-existing-wordpress-users-simple-membership-plugin/

    I guess I found 4 or 5 users whose pwords didn’t work and I though Simple Membershid didn’t work… but I have tried with another user and it is OK.
