WP2FA not working

    WP2FA suddenly not working for the account which has been setup 2FA previously, I have tried to reset the 2FA setting for the account, it can trigger the 2FA setup and sucessfully setup and login into the website. After i logged out and login again, the system do not trigger 2FA, it directly login into the website. Please help

    After rollback to 2.2.0 it works again

    Thank you for using our plugin.

    I am sorry to read about your issue. It’s quite a strange one. By any chance do you have a mirroring website on which you can run some tests?

    I am suspecting that this could be a conflict with another plugin or your theme. To check if this is the problem, on the staging website can you deactivate all plugins apart from WP 2FA and confirm if the problem persists? If it does not, start enabling the plugin one at a time until the issue can be reproduced.

    Please keep us posted on the outcome of the tests.

    We have just released update 2.3.0 of the plugin, which is a major improvement over 2.2.1. It also contains a lot of bug fixes. Please refer to the WP 2FA v2.3.0 release notes for more information on what is new and improved in this update.

    Can you please install the latest update and let us know if the issue persists or not?
