wp2flickr custom field Image URL upload functionality

Hello,

I’m using the plugin wp2flickr (http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/wp2flickr/) and I like how it works so far, it does what I need it to do for the blog posts which contain the image inside of the post itself.

However, since the events section is integrated with The Events Calendar plugin (events are utilized through posts) I use a custom field image URL to specify the event image for custom purposes.

Basically, what I’d like to be able to do is have this also, if there is a custom field with an event image URL (i use event_image), it will take that URL then upload that image to flickr.

If anybody has any experience with this plugin and could help me figure out a way to utilize it to be able to do this functionality, that would be great.
