wp_enqueue_script error

With debugging on, notice appears at screen top:

Adding a custom field of a custom post type and saving displays above notice with the following on otherwise white screen:

On saving entry without required field, “Fields marked in RED are mandatory” appears at the top. No fields are marked in red.
