wp_insert_post only inserting first 2000 posts

    Exactly as title says. Trying to do an import of approximate 25,000 items, but only first 2000 are being imported. Is this due to my host, or is it a limit of WordPress itself? Is there any way to get around this?

    Haven’t been able to find this issue anywhere.

    Best guess: the import is timing out because it is exceeding your server’s max_execution time. Try splitting the import file down into smaller chunks – each one chunk being 1 meg or less.

    Hi Esmi,

    Thanks for the feedback. I upped the limit on max_execution_time and nothing happened. Found out that the limit is because of the API that we’re trying to integrate with. 🙁
