I just run a test on our site and works fine.
Just apply the shortcode on a text block.
Don’t use wp_Bakery on the page single car. Let Car Dealer Plugin create this page.
On WP-bakery General Settings page, left NONE on all select boxes for templates.

But on the page single car is exactly where I need it to work. Unfortunately, the current layout doesn’t display a featured image and other details. That’s why I want to use the page builder as I did here on this page.

Maybe it is a theme issue, not plugin issue.

Only on the plugin’s single page it does not work.
I managed to disable the redirect on redirect.php.
Not forcing the car page to use the plugin template.
