• I recently changed my blog to a self hosted site.

When I look at stats I see both the old blog and the new self hosted blog but can not tell which is which on the screen that has both shown side by side. The concern has to do with followers/subscribers not showing up properly.

    Hope this makes sense.

    Congrats!

I recently had the occasion to ask some Jetpack engineers this question in person. 😉

Install the Jetpack plugin and visit this link.

    http://jetpack.me/support/subscription-migration-tool/

The subscribers from your .COM blog to your self-hosted installation will be migrated once you’ve gone through those steps. It may take a while so please be patient.

Well Thank you Jan. I FINALLY figured out which one of the sites on the ‘MY SITES’ PAGE IS THE OLD AND WHICH IS THE NEW SELF HOSTED SITE.

The current issue is that after having a ‘HAPPINESS ENGINEER’ recently migrate followers and stats from the old .com to the new jetpack or self hosted site, I still do not see new subscribers showing up. the jet pack shows a number that has not changed and yet I am getting multiple email notifications of new user registrations per day.

how do I and SHOULD I make the old .com site private? Could that be part of the issue?

I also just noticed there IS a new subscriber on the old site. When I follow those instructions to migrate followers, the drop down for selecting the site to migrate from does not show anything. The drop down box is not populated.

    Please help.

I also just realized that I was allowing folks to subscribe. How do I make sure that followers can simply FOLLOW and get notifications of new posts. The plug in mentioned in another thread on this forum does not seem to be available any longer. it was ‘follow button for jetpack’ see the thread ” followers vs users vs subscribers”
