    Please tell me – how can I tune WPdiscuz to send notification via email to user which left comment when another user in the same blog add the next comment?

    Hi @asmolyakov,

    I’m sorry but we don’t follow you well. To get a notification you should subscribe.
    wpDiscuz allows users to get all kinds of notifications from your website’s comment system, such as new comments, new replies, double opt-in subscription, user mentioning, user following, and new comments by followed users. You can manage all those options here in Dashboard > wpDiscuz > Settings > Subscription and User Following admin page.

    Can I do mandatory subscription on email notification for user otherwise the posting will not occur?

    Hi @asmolyakov,

    The only way we can suggest you, it’s once the comment is posted subscribe the users automatically, by using the WordPress hook:

    If you have knowledge in the development you should do it yourself by writing custom code(not enable the checkbox), or find some developer to do it for you.

    It should be checkbox to do it without any code. Checkbox is more simple.

    This is not a chat, so please be patient when you’re waiting for support. Support forums is a free support area where plugin developers help based on their free time, so it may take a few hours or 1-2 days to get some answers.

    I’m sorry but the answer on your question is negative. There is no way to make the subscription mandatory and there is no option to make it checkbox.

    But you can enable (make it checked) the subscription button by default, so people well automatically subscribe to their comments when they post a new comment. Just navigate to Dashboard > wpDiscuz > Settings > Subscription and User Following tab and enable this option: “Keep checked the ‘Notify of new replies to this comment’ option by default”:
