Hello, I have MC4WP set up with the WPForms Integration Active. We have a simple email signup form that should subscribe users to either a Homeowner or Contractor Mailchimp List. After submission, I can see in the MC4WP Logs that my email is listed as a signup that used the WPForm integration. However, when I search through All Contacts in our Mailchimp Account, I do not see that the email was actually added.

Any idea why this is not actually adding submissions to our Mailchimp Audience?

    Thanks,
    Kyle

    Hi Kyle,

On MC4WP > Other, can you set to to “log everything” and then test the Wp Forms form. After this test, do you see anything in the log on MC4WP > Other, or does it stay empty?

    Thanks for letting me know.

    Hello Lap!

    I am seeing ‘[2023-11-10 14:21:55] INFO: WPForms > Successfully subscribed ksta***@sc********.com’

    Thanks,

    Hey @kstancy,

Do you have “Double Opt-in” enabled in the settings?

Double Opt-In is enabled, but I’m trying not to use the MC4WP Form, because we get spammed endlessly with fake submissions. My goal is to use the MC4WP WPForms Integration to build a WPForm that can subscribe users to our Mailchimp Lists, because we can use Recaptcha on WPForms. The issue is that after submission, I don’t see that the users are actually added to our lists on Mailchimp’s end.

I would like to leave one last message for Ibericode if you’re seeing this forum. The MC4WP Plugin’s WPForms integration does not work.

It allows you to add a ‘Mailchimp’ Field to your WPForm, which is supposed to add the submission to the audience of your choice. However, when the form is submitted, the email isn’t actually added to the audience, and the user is nowhere to be found on Mailchimp’s end.

I’ve been unable to find a fix for this.

You can use the hcaptcha plugin to add a captcha to the Mailchimp for WordPress form.

If the log shows successfully subscribed, it means the contact is sent to Mailchimp, from there it’s out of our hands.
Our log only shows that success message if the Mailchimp API confirmed to us that the subscriber is properly received by them.

For the WpForms integration double opt-in is always turned on, there is no way to turn that off in this integration method, so a double opt in link will need to be clicked before the subscriber shows in your Mailchimp audience. The opt-in mail is sent out by Mailchimp, not by our plugin.

You may also want to check if the correct audience is selected when you click on the checkbox in the WpForms form editor.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let me know!
