Can you recall what is the last thing you did to the website? Any new plugins or updates to the plugins? Normally if a function stops out working suddenly, it could be conflicts with plugins.
If the above does not help, then you will need to first start to find out if your email server is working or not. Are you using any SMTP plugin or you are using your web hosting server (default) to send emails?

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with email delivery.
As you informed that you always received the notifications, there are two options to solve the issue:
1) You could reach out to your hosting provider support, and share this issue with them. There might be an issue with the server that sends emails from your site. They should be able to help you get this sorted out.
2) You can configure an SMTP plugin on your site. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials. That way, you should receive all of your notifications.

Thanks for your support 🙂 I changed the mail address where the form entry shall be sent to and created a rule that those mails will be forwarded to the main mail address I would like to use. Not the best option but for now it works 🙂
