WPForms Lite causing critical error

    I am having trouble finding how to best resolve this critical error. Years ago I created a free website that helps people resolve alcohol dependence and it now just runs in the background with me just updating WP and Plugins periodically as needed. Just lately a customer advised me a request Form was broken. When I updated all the Plugins I got a critical error and am in WP Recovery Mode, but don’t know fix the WPForms Lite problem. I have read your advice bit still not sure what to do. I will attach the error reports for you (see below). Hope you can help as the site important to a lot of people and I’m just one bloke on his own.

    If the fatal error continues, could you please try using the steps in WPBeginner’s detailed guide on troubleshooting WordPress to see if it helps resolve the issue?

    Thank you for your reply.
    I had to use WP recovery mode link in the email it sent me to get back into my website dashboard. I then had to disable the WPForms plugin for the site to operate at all.
    The forms are supposed to be on the pages with the Tabs (ALCOHEMY BOOK GRAPHICS) and on (Free Alcohemy Workbook). Instead there is a error text of ([wpforms id=”1638″ title=”false” description=”false”]) and on the other page ([wpforms id=”1634″ title=”false” description=”false”]). You should be able to see those.
    I don’t know how to fix these errors as I can’t get into WPForms plugin settings??
    Can you offer any tips/advice please? It would be much appreciated.

    I recommend trying the steps in WPBeginner’s detailed guide on troubleshooting WordPress to see if it helps resolve the issue. After the Step 5, you could enable WPForms and check if the issue continues.

    No luck from what I have tried. As soon as I reactivate the WPForms Lite plugin I immediately get a site critical error and have to use the emailed Recovery Mode link to get back in an deactivate the plugin for the site to work again. I’m stumped.

    I have created 3 short screen captures that show the before, during and after of the problem. However, I can’t find the symbol or way to upload these videos into this WP block. The only options I can find is to embed a URL or hosting link which I don’t have. I want to upload the file from my PC into a video block here? Any suggestion?

    Hi @alcohemy,

    It’s not possible to upload your videos here, but you can share links to access them. For this, you can use a service like Streamable or even YouTube.

    Also, you could upload the videos to the cloud using Google Drive, iCloud, or Microsoft OneDrive, for example. Then, you could share here a link with permission to access the video just with the link.

    Could you please make sure that you are using the latest version of all the plugins? Also, please share the system info of your site by navigating to WPForms > Tools > System info.
