WPForms submit button not showing

Hi all,

I’m a novice and trying to update my website. I have created 3 forms on WPforms all with submit buttons. I have filled in the necessary fields in Elementor but when I preview the changes, the button isn’t showing on all 3 forms.

I use the theme Astra. I switched all my plugins on and off individually to test and it looks like the issue was lastly with the Elementor plugin. When this is turned off, the submit button is showing.

Can anyone shed any light on this? All help is welcome. Thanks in advance

I just wanted to know that you have created forms in wpforms plugin and embed as mentioned here https://wpforms.com/docs/how-to-add-wpforms-to-an-elementor-page/ right?

If yes then please try to deactivate autoptimize cache plugin and let me know if the issue still persists.

pro-tip; you can disable Autoptimize on a per-request basis by adding ?ao_noptimize=1 to the URL.

if the problem is not there at that point, some autoptimize (re-)configuration might be needed to fix this. there are troubleshooting tips and info on how to exclude in the AO FAQ.

@alithewpdev can confirm I created and embedded the form as per above. Cleared the cache to no avail.

@optimizingmatters added the above to the URL and unfortunately no fix. Followed the guide to exclude as on the tips but unsure if I am entering this correctly?

if the problem persists when ?ao_noptimize=1 is added to the URL, then the problem is unrelated to AO and excluding is not needed and will indeed not help.

@alithewpdev I’ve picked this site up off someone else. Had a look in and it seems there is no staging site created / cant create a duplicate within this hosting plan. Any ideas on how I can progress further without this?

@j7gcl From which hosting provider you are using hosting? Maybe i could help.

I’m afraid there is no solution except providing your live site temporary credentials or giving me your website files and DB.

Screen sharing could be the other solution.
