WPML compatibility

    We love your product but have now made our site multi-language with WPML.

    We tried selecting the composite products in a translated product, but they could not be added and reverted to the main language (which then did not work on the product page).

    We then also tried to create the product directly in the other language (no translation), but we still could not select the composite products in that language.

    Do you see a way to make your plugin compatible to WPML? Does your paid version offer that (I did not see it in the documentation)?

    Hi @msfromg ,

    Sorry for the late response. We are away for a period of time.

    In order to make it work with WPML and other multi-lingual plugins, there are some manual works to be done by users as it’s impossible for our plugin to automatically detect the translation of products and for translation plugins to retrieve the settings of smart composite:

    • Make sure the translated version of products in the target language connect to its original product on the single product page.
    • Edit the Bundle product page, re-add the translated version of subproducts to the translated version of the main bundle again as if they are creating smart bundles in the source language.
    • This is because WPML and our plugin can’t determine which translated products are part of which translated bundle automatically, so users need to re-create the translated bundle with translated subproducts again. Best regards.

    You probably don’t see the product show up as an option in that language. I have the same problem then. In version 7.3.6 this did work.
