WPML disabled languages

    Hi,

    is there a way to disable generation for WPML disabled language ? I want to keep the disabled language for future uses but also want to save credits since we moved from a 7 language website to a 2 language one

    I ran into something similar recently. From what I’ve seen, there isn’t a built-in way to exclude WPML disabled languages specifically.

    What I ended up doing was just being a bit more selective with bulk runs and only generating where I actually needed it, otherwise it’ll still process content tied to those disabled languages and eat into credits.

    It would definitely be useful if there was an option to ignore disabled languages though, feels like a pretty common scenario when scaling sites down.

    Curious if anyone else has found a cleaner workaround.

    Hey, all! This is Josh, I head up engineering over here at AltText.Ai— this actually shipped in v1.10.31. If you go to Settings > AltText.ai, you’ll see a “WPML Languages to Auto-Process” checklist under the language dropdown (only shows when WPML is active with 2+ languages). Just uncheck the languages you don’t want, and bulk runs will skip them entirely — no credits used.
