Hi @magicfilou,
Yes, we have gone through the process with WPML to make this plugin compatible.
Thank you!
-TracyGreat I will try it so π
You should say that in your plugin description πThanks !
That is a good idea, thank you for the suggestion π
FYI is translatable … only if you switch in WPML settings :
WPML Translation Editor -> to -> Native WooCommerce product editing screen
πHi @magicfilou @liljimmi
Could you please explain how to do: ” only if you switch in WPML settings :
WPML Translation Editor -> to -> Native WooCommerce product editing screen”?Thank you very much in advance!
Hi!
Go here :
https://www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpml-wcml&tab=settingsthen :
Product Translation Interface
[ ] WPML Translation Editor
[ X ] Native WooCommerce product editing screenhope this help π
Hi @magicfilou and @yikesitskevin,
When I check this setting ([ X ] Native WooCommerce product editing screen) I get this message: “If you are using a page builder to design WooCommerce products, you should only use WPML’s Translation Editor.”
And I’m using a page builder to design WooCommerce products (WPBakery Page Builder).
Is it a problem? Is there a risk?
Should I translate my tab contents with this option and then, when it’s translated, switch to the other option again (WPML Translation Editor)?Thank you very much for your help.
Hi!
I don’t use WPBakery but in my case the msg is :
The recommended way to translate WooCommerce products is using the WooCommerce Multilingual products translation page. Please use this page only for translating elements that are not available in the WooCommerce Multilingual products translation table.
and doesn’t matter … so Do a backup and test … but I guess all will be ok.
yep when you finish your translation you can back to the “WP translator only” but it’s not obligatory.
in all case and before using the “WP Translator Editor” be sure to configure well the “Multilingual content setup” TAB in each product page to activate all translations you need π
and if it’s not enough so … switch to the “Native WooCommerce product editing screen” π

Hi @magicfilou,
Thank you very much for your answer and for your help.
When you say ” before using the βWP Translator Editorβ be sure to configure well the βMultilingual content setupβ TAB in each product page to activate all translations you need”, which configuration should be made exactly and how to activate all the translations that I need in each product page?
I’m sorry I’m not a WPML expert and I find it very complicated…Thanks again for your help.
Hi @magicfilou,
Thank you for helping with this ticket!
-TracyHi @fotske
In all admin products pages you will see a TAB : Multilingual content setup
check :
Make ‘Products’ translatableand choose what you need to translate
if miss something try clicking on : Show system fieldsthen decide if: translate, copy …
hope this help π
HNY πHi @magicfilou,
I am really sorry but I don’t find this Multilingual content TAB.
Why do you mean by “admin product pages”?
Could you please tell me the way from the WordPress admin to arrive there?
Or maybe send a screenshot?Sorry for all these questions…
Thank you very much in advance for your help!
Hi
admin product pages is the page where you configure your product , price, quantity, description ….
at the end of this page you will see the Multilingual Content TAB, if not, expand the “screen options” (top right corner of your screen) on the same page and check the :
Multilingual Content Setupyou need to see this TAB π
