I’ve seen many threads about this, but I can’t get it to work.

What’s the lightest way to make WPML swallow that weird dash this plugin is using for translations?

We’re trying to make that <option> work in two languages (FR and EN).

We tried using first_as_label, but that seems like it hardcodes a value (we need the value to change depending on the page’s language). Correct us if that’s not what this option does.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think I understand.

CF7 forms should be translated like post types, so the french form will have:
first_as_label “—Veuillez choisir une option—”

While another form for the english side would have:
first_as_label “—Please choose an option—”
(or include_blank since it’s always english)
