I have two WPMU DEV profiles

On profile 1 – had 5 external domains connected

On profile 2 – had majority of our other external domains connected.

On profile 1 disconnected the 5 sites and on this profile its no longer showing up as being connected in the hub.

When I log into each of these 5 sites that were on WPMU DEV profile 1 and try to connect these sites to profile 2 I receive the following error message:

This site is currently registered to *** | (*****@**** *.com). For security reasons they will need to go to the WPMU DEV Hub and remove this domain before you can log in. If you do not have access to that account, and have no way of contacting that user, please contact supportfor assistance.

    I have tried:

    • Clearing website cache
    • Deleting the plugin and reinstalling
    • Manually removing the plugin by deleting it in cpanel file manager and then reinstalling

Can you advise what else I can do to get this resolved?

    Thank you kindly

    KRB Digital

    Hi @krbdigital,

Please do note that this forum is only meant for queries related to free version of Forminator which doesn’t require WPMU DEV account.

Please use WPMU DEV forums/chat for queries related to Pro versions, so that we could assist better:

    Hi Nithin

We are not using Pro version of Forminator.

The WPMU DEV( “The Hub” ) is also not the paid option.

Your comments make no sense to me.

    Hi Nithin,

    Thanks for your response.

Just to clarify: I’m not using any paid/pro version of WPMU DEV services, both of my accounts are on the free membership tier, and I’m only using the free WPMU DEV Hub plugin to monitor and manage external WordPress sites.

The issue I’m facing is specifically with the Hub plugin’s site ownership/connection logic, which seems to still associate some of my websites with an old free account, even after they’ve been removed from that account’s Hub dashboard.

I understand that this forum is intended for free plugin support, and since this is a free plugin being used within the limitations of a free account, I’d appreciate any help or direction you can offer to resolve the site-lock error, or at least confirm whether a manual reset from your backend is required.

Thanks again for your time and assistance.

    Best regards,

    KRB Digital
