WPSSO plugin problem

Hello,
I reached out to Pressable about an issue I was having when trying to leave a product page after updating. The following is the message that they sent back. I am not a technical person, so please advise me on how to correct this problem. Thank you so much, Elise Russell [email protected]
Hi Elise! Thank you for reaching out. We created a copy of your site for testing and found that the plugin wpsso appears to be responsible for what you are experiencing. When the plugin is disabled the notice disappears.
You might consider reporting thee issue to the plugin developers: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/wpsso/. Hopefully they know of a simple way to resolve it.

Are you able to describe what happens when you “leave a product page after updating”?
Are you able to copy-paste the notice text mentioned in your post?

I am so sorry, I didn’t realize I was supposed to be replying through this site. I have been attempting to get you directly through email and had gotten no response. Here is what has happened so far.
I contacted Pressable and this was what they told me:

You contacted me and this was my response:
I am having an issue with a message coming up when I try to update information in my products. I change my information, hit update and it states that has been successful. When I try to leave the page I get the message in the screen shot below.
*I was able to send you a screen shot through my email, but am not able to attach it to this message”
I am also an administrator on another site and this has happened on their site as well. Not sure if it has something to do with my desktop, my program, or what. I does not happen to the other administer on the other site. My web sites are http://www.pcspiano.com and http://www.usgtx.com
Since I didn’t hear from you, I did disable the plugin, but would like to have it active again. Please advise me on what is going on and how to fix.

I’m happy to help, but you will have to provide specific information.
– You mention products. Is this a WooCommerce product page? The type of page makes a difference.
– You mention there’s a message when you update information? What information are you updating, and what is the message? Please copy-paste the text of any error / warning message.
– When you leave the page, you say there’s another message – what is that message? Please copy-paste the text of that message.

*When working with a single product, I pull up the product and make adjustments. After I have completed the changes, I hit the “UPDATE” button and down at the bottom of the page, it states that the update has been completed. I next hit the back arrow at the top of the pate to return to the menu page an a message (which I cannot send through this box), appears at the top of my page saying if I leave the page, my changes may or may not be saved. It’s about a 50/50 chance that my new information will be saved at this point. I have deactivated bot the Core and Social Sharing buttons at this time and that has solved the problem, but I would like to have these.”

I am not having these issues since I deactivated the plugins as the Pressable Support indicated, only when they are activated. This is quite frustrating, as this just started a few weeks ago. I don’t know if another plugin is not compatible or is interfering. I am NOT a technical person, so I am doing my best to explain this to you.

Thanks for your reply, but you haven’t mentioned if this is a WooCommerce product page or not. It sounds like this is a javascript / jQuery issue, which can happen with older plugins / themes that have not been updated to the latest javascript / jQuery standards. The message you describe sounds like some javascript / jQuery is not executing properly. If you enable the console in your browser, then edit a product, if there is a javascript / jQuery execution problem, there should be an error message in your browser’s console. Please copy-paste the text of that error message (from your browser’s console window). Oh, I think I understand what you are asking me now. No, it is not a WooCommerce page, it is a Pressable page.
That’s just a blank page.

I do not know what a broswer console is or where it might be, so I will need assistance in this area.

I reactivated the plugins and tried to copy/paste. The error message did not appear, so I am assuming it took care of itself. I am glad to know where and how to get into the browser, so that you for that assistance. I will contact you again, if it starts appearing, with the text. I am totally baffled by all of this.
