Wrong Capability to use this plugin

I installed the plugin and it worked correcty.
But it would be nice if my authors could use this, too.
Unfortunately this is not possible because the the instant images admin page can only accessed with the capability “edit_theme_options”.

I think this is a bug because this capability is completely unrelated the the functionality of this plugin. This plugin is adding images to the wordpress media library. So a capability should be used which is meant to handle media library uploads.

I think the capability “upload_files” should be used instead of “edit_theme_options”.
