Hi guys, maybe a more experienced coder can give me a hand, what’s wrong with this?

<?php if ( $slideshow == “Desserts” ) { echo ‘class=”lightbox”‘} ?>

Been trying but every time i got this:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘}’, expecting ‘,’ or ‘;’ in /home/content/21/10754121/html/name/wp-content/themes/name/template-cuisine-desserts.php on line 28

I already answered this question elsewhere, but here’s the answer for future reference:

The slideshow conditional should be lowercase like this:
```
<?php if ( $slideshow == "desserts" ) { echo 'class="lightbox"'; } ?>
```
But that won’t work in just any spot, you need to add the lightbox class to the slide link in a custom slideshow template: http://jleuze.com/plugins/meteor-slides/customizing-the-slideshow-template/
