Since the update to version 5.0.0 most of the event dates are shown as January 9th!? Looking at the events table in the backend the events still have the correct date, but on the frontend, not all but most of them have changed to January 9th.
    Thanks for your help!

Some more details and screenshots (did not find out how to edit my previous post, sorry):

    WP version 5.3.2
    theme twenty seventeen
    php version 7.3.13

    Screenshots:
    “backend” (dates are correct),
“calendar page” and “whole calendar” (page where the whole calendar (list view) is shown, some dates are wrong, some are correct),
“event” (single event, dates are wrong),
“widget on startpage” (widget in the sidebar of the frontpage, dates are wrong)
    > the screenshots can be found here

interestingly all the dates that have changed, have changed to January 9th (today).

    Again, thanks for your help!

I rolled it back and it works again! @andreas73ch

Hi @sara007, what do you mean with “rolled it back”, do you mean undo the update? If yes, how can I do this? (Sorry, but I’m an absolute greenhorn…) Thanks!

found the plugin WP Rollback, but unfortunately it didn’t work πŸ™

I unistalled the plugin and installed the previous version from BO. You can try the same @andreas73ch! If you are not sure before doing it do a backup!

    worked out πŸ™‚

Thanks a lot for your help @sara007!

    Your welcome @andreas73ch ! πŸ™‚

@sara007 may I ask where & how did you download the previous version. I’m in panic mode now because the day for all events were wrong. Kindly help please.

    Hello @sirikanya13,
I had a backup of the site before the plugin update, so from there I could reach the plugin folder and replace it with the current one via FTP, usually this is the path where you can find the plugins on WP:

    path/wp-contents/plugins/myplugin

Make sure to do a backup before performing any action.

    Hope this can help.

    Have a nice day! πŸ™‚

Thank you for your kind & prompt reply. If I don’t do the back up, does it mean I can not do the download. I am totally clueless.

@sirikanya13 If you don’t have any update that was performed before the update of the plugin or you don’t have the previous version of the plugin downloaded on your device, I think you should ask to the developer that I believe will release an update for the bug soon. πŸ™‚

I have no clue, if this could work, but if you want to give it a try, you can download my “m.e.c. v4.9.5”-files here. Please note, that it is NOT the original installation file, but just a copy of my m.e.c. folder. So, it is on your own risk, no guarantee! Good luck!

    @sirikanya13 & @sara007

You can navigate to here and download previous versions:

    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/modern-events-calendar-lite/advanced/

Thanks @viablethought for the link! πŸ™‚
