    Hi Everybody,

regarding readability we receive the following result for our mentioned website:

    • Consecutive sentences: The text contains 24 consecutive sentences that start with the same word. Try it with a little more variety!

We have checked the page multiple times and can’t figure out why this problem is mentioned.

There are also some other problems like:

    • Paragraph length: 1 paragraph contains more than the recommended maximum of 150 words. Shorten the paragraph!
    • Connective words: Only 11.7% of sentences contain connective words. That is not enough. Use more of it.

    which we don’t comprehend.

Does anybody has an idea, how we can figure out why these problems are mentioned by the tool?

Thank you so much in advance and greetings,

    Mike

    Hello Mike,

Thanks for reaching out regarding the readability analysis for your page.

    • Consecutive sentences – sometimes, our content analysis picks bullet points as consecutive sentences. I can see an accurate use of a bulleted list here in your content, so you can ignore the feedback in this case.
    • Paragraph length – Yoast SEO checks if your text has any sentences that are too long and shows you where they are in your text. The same goes for paragraphs. Shorter paragraphs are easier to process. They help break down the text into bite-size chunks, which makes your text easier to read. You may consider shortening your paragraphs if possible.
    • Connective words: See the full list of German transition words and two-part German transition words that Yoast SEO recognizes to ensure your content has enough of them.
