Hi @jopoo, thanks for your question.
Usually we find one of the options works to find the correct IP. There could be some extra configuration for it to detect properly on some sites, but in rarer cases the host isn’t sending the correct visitor IP to the site at all.
It might be best to send over a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com using the link at the top of the Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.
NOTE: It should look as follows – Screenshot of Tools > Diagnostic > Send by Email
Thanks,
Peter.

Hi,
I have sent it as requested.
Thanks
Hi @jopoo, thank-you for sending that over.
It does look like ALL IPs being sent to REMOTE_ADDR, X-Real-IP and X-Forwarded-For are the same Amazon AWS datacenter IP. Whilst these don’t seem to clash with the IP(s) used by your server, it seems like this could be related to your hosting environment rather than your visitor IP. I would contact your host if you haven’t already to see whether a valid visitor IP can be sent through to any of these values otherwise you may continue to experience unwanted blocks for everybody when the intention was to only block one.
Thanks,
Peter.
