Wrong issuer in 2FA QR code parameter

About a year ago, I posted a filter for fixing the issuer parameter in the QR code used for enabling 2FA. That forum topic is closed for replies, which is why I must create a new topic.

I wonder if you have any ETA for when the plugin will be updated with the right issuer (i.e., the website name, not Wordfence)? Implementing a filter like the one suggested would also be very welcome since many sites only use email addresses for logging in, not usernames.

We don’t publish release dates in advance as they might change but it tentatively looks like it will not be in the next version update, but the one after that.
