I’m looking for an answer similar to this. When I submit the sitemap to google webmaster tools, an error message returns stating:
“An invalid date was found. Please fix the date or formatting before resubmitting.”
And an example is displayed:
Parent tag: url
Tag: lastmod
Value: -0001-11-30T00:00:00+00:00
How is this overcome?
I’ve verified that I’m using the most recent version and I seem to have things configured correctly. I guess the bottom line is this: In Google Webmaster Tools, the sitemaps are successfully submitted even though it lists the error of invalid date. How (if at all) does this affect my site;s SEO? Is a fix or a work-around even necessary?
I’m having the same issue. Is there any fix for this yet? I’m running the latest version, 1.4.7.
