I think you are trying to login using an inactive account. Can you make sure that you are able to login without activation our plugin?

without the plugin a login is with different browsers many times possible. In the user section the “Double opt in” activation option is confirmed with “Yes, customer opted in”. Therefor I believe the message ‘Please activate your account through clicking on the activation link received via email.’ should normally not appear.
We use WordPress 4.7.2. Any ideas?
