That’s how our plugin work, Admin needs to go to orders and mark these orders as completed or you have to do some additional customization or use the auto order complete plugin.

We do manually mark them complete, that is not the issue. The issue is is that the Invoice Plugin should not set the status to “Processing” but it should be “Payment Pending” Is there any way this can be updated?

We are unable to reproduce the mentioned issue on our staging site. It seems like the theme or some other plugin is conflicting with the Our plugin Can you change the theme to WordPress default 2022 or deactivate the plugins one by one and check if the issue still persists or not.
I have tested it on my staging site and the order status is set to “Processing”.

Please re-read my concern:
The Plugin sets the status to “Processing”, as you have even produced in your testing environment. This is incorrect. The “Processing” status is for a paid order that is being processed. When the customer is being sent an invoice, it is not yet paid. Therefore, the plugin SHOULD be setting the status to “Payment Pending”, which I can then change to “Pending” once the Invoice is paid.
