Wrong Payment Buttons in Order Confirmation Page

I’m having an issue with the plugin in the order confirmation page: I’m not sure which version started to exhibit this behavior, but upon confirming the order for some reason the “Actions” button “Pay” and “Cancel” have appeared in the summary section, despite having already completed the payment. this is causing a lot of confusion for some customers, which have tried paying twice or more for their order.
This is a screenshot from a test using the Storefront theme in a dev environment, and a sandbox connection:
Moreover, the buttons behavior is erratic – they disappear if the confirmation page is reloaded just after a few minutes, and the Cancel button just returns an error saying the user can’t undo the operation.
I’ve tried looking for some hooks to remove such buttons altogether to no avail, is there a way to fix this? This is causing some real issues with cards being banned due to too many write offs and chargebacks.The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I am also having the same issue with the Pay and Cancel action buttons appearing after payment has completed.
When I switch off the “Enable guest checkout (recommended)” I don’t get the pay button but this results in other issues:
– don’t get redirected to the thank you page
– doesn’t trigger an email with the temporary password
– receipt is not sent to customer!Also when the payment is “thinking” there is an empty white box with nothing in it so the customer could be confused as to what’s going on!
