    Hi,

I am having trouble with multiple Global site tag installations. Also in tracking down this problem Site Kit is using a default UA tag UA-130569087-3 even when no other GA account is connected.

This has been reported previously and the itme was marked Resolved.

    Current version Site Kit 1.8.1

    Thank you.
    Graham

Are you seeing this as an error reported or have you noticed this in your site’s source code?

    2) I currently see you have an Analytics snippet in the source with an UA tag code ending in 9908-1

    3) Are you viewing the site while logged in? The tracking code referenced UA-130569087-3 is for Site Kit’s anonymous tracking that can be opted into or out anytime from the plugin’s settings. It does not impact the Analytics service connection that you configure and is only visible while you’re logged into your website.

    Hi Renee,

Thanks for getting back to me.

The duplicate ID tags were reported by the Chrome addon Tag Assistant hence I went looking for the problem. But you are correct, I was logged in to WordPress at the time the extra tag was visible.
Thank you for the explanantion I now understand what is happening, and how I can remove the extra tag it required.

    Regards,
    Graham

@grahamoz thanks for following up. Sure, not a problem!
