wrong slides displayed

    A widget (sidebar) slideshow set to display slides only with category ‘xyz’ is also displaying 4 slides from a different category.
    ‘Slideshow Quantity’ is set to 25 to accommodate a large & changing number of ‘xyz’ slides (all other slide categories will have far less than 25 slides). At present, there are only 21 ‘xyz’ slides, and I’m getting 4 slides displayed (at the end of the slideshow sequence) from a different category.
    I’ve tried re-setting the sidebar slideshow’s slug, and the category settings of the 4 incorrectly displayed slides – no change.
    The only hack I’ve found is to reduce the Slideshow Quantity setting to 21 – but this will cause future hassles when there are more than 25 ‘xyz’ slides to display.
    Note the page with my sidebar slideshow also has a header area slideshow (slide category = ‘home’). Sorry can’t provide a link to the site as is being constructed off-air.

    Are you using the latest version of Meteor Slides, 1.5.4? Could you roll it back to 1.5.3? I made a change to the widgets in 1.5.4 and I want to make sure that isn’t causing this.

    Thanks Josh. No change after downgrade to 1.5.3. Same problem if I call the slideshow using shortcode in a text widget
    ie [meteor_slideshow slideshow=”sponsors-sidebar”]

    That’s very strange, I would try deactivating your other plugins to confirm there isn’t a conflict with a query in another plugin. What theme are you using?

    What’s even stranger is that the widget slideshow is now functioning correctly, even with Slideshow Quantity set to 30. Have re-updated the plug-in, and everything is still looking fine. Dunno. Anyway, am happy – thanks for your assistance Josh.
