Wrong stats

    Sorry for the late reply!

    The page stats are updated to the statistics using a scheduled cron job. Possibly the cron job is not running. Can you install the plug-in WP Crontrol to check if cron works on your site?

    Hi Rogier!

    No, we cann’t install the plugin WP-Control, we have a restrict policy on installing plugins to our site. Neverthelees, I must inform and assure you that cron job is running properly. 

    There is also other problems with stats in general. Today, for example, Burst says that we have 101 pageviews while Google Analytics has already record over 6.ooo pageviews! Something is wrong with burst stats not only on this site, we have similar problems with other sites also (for example https://thermoyiannis.gr). 

    I would kindly like to ask for help solving this problem in order to keep using burst plugin.

    Hi @kostas_t,

    For large sites with lot’s of pageviews, the today view can sometimes be misleading as be processed throughout the day using cron not to harm the websites performance a lot.

    The first issue is still occurring to you? Can you make sure you are on the latest version 2.2.3?

    Yes, the first issue still occurring.

    Unfortunately, we uninstalled the plugin, as the statistics it provides are not reliable. Nevertheless, we want to thank you and encourage you to continue creating useful plugins for all of us out there!
