I want to enable taxes in my store. I’ve read many forum threads, but none of them address the issue of incorrect tax calculations.

We only have one tax for all products in the store, depending on the store location. The tax is set only for products, not shipping, and it’s 23%.

For example, I added a product for exactly 100 PLN, so the 23% tax should be 23 PLN. For some reason, the price in the cart and on the summary includes 18.70 PLN VAT.

This causes incorrect calculations in the analysis and incorrect sales reports for accounting.

The same problem occurs in other stores I’ve checked.

    Hi there!

Thanks for explaining the issue in detail — I understand how concerning this is, especially when it affects your reports and accounting.

To help us pinpoint what’s causing the incorrect tax calculation, could you please share a bit more information?

    • A screenshot of the product price settings
    • A screenshot of your WooCommerce tax settings
    • A screenshot of tax rates (Standard rates + relevant tax options)
    • The product URL where you’re seeing this issue

Once we have these details, we’ll be happy to take a closer look and assist you further in identifying what’s causing the discrepancy.

As i don’t want to make any mess on my original site, i’m working on temporary server so i’ve sent You the link to test product. But the problem with proper calculating is on every product.

Sorry for the mess, i just noticed that i’ve selected to put price including taxes not without… and this was the issue. Marking as resolved.
