    Hello there,

We are utilizing WordPress Multisite, featuring one site for Bahrain and another for Saudi Arabia. Both sites function well on desktop and accurately display total sales values. We employ the WooCommerce mobile app, where, regrettably, the total sales value on the Saudi site appears incorrectly.

To troubleshoot this, I tested something on my site. I went to Analytics -> Settings -> Date Type. By default, nothing was set for either site.

On the Bahrain site, when I choose the “Date Created” option and save, then reload and check the total sales, it shows the correct total sales value. Similarly, when I choose the “Date Paid” option and save, then reload and check the total sales, it also shows the correct total sales value.

However, on the Saudi site, when I choose the “Date Paid” option and save, then reload and check the total sales, it shows the correct total sales value. But when I choose the “Date Created” option and save, then reload and check the total sales, it shows a different total sales value.

This different total sales value is also reflected in the WooCommerce mobile app. Please advise on how to resolve this issue.

  • Hey there, @hajakutbudeen! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

It is possible to have discrepancies between those two options because when you choose Date Created, it will show the sales from the orders created in that period, but those orders were not necessarily paid during that same period.

So, if you are seeing the sales from Feb 1 to Feb 29 and have the Date Created option, you will see the total for all orders created during this period, regardless of if they were already paid or not. But if some of these orders were only paid on march 1, for example, when you change to Date Paid, these orders will not show in the same time period.

If you go to  WooCommerce > Analytics > Orders you can see exactly what orders are being counted.

You can find more about this in this guide.

Can you take a look at your orders to see if this is what is happening or if there’s really an issue?

If you think there’s an issue, please do the following:

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
