It seems like the URLs may have changed on a majority of my testimonials and now the “Read More” links takes the user to a 404 – error page. Why wouldn’t the target link automatically change when the URL is changed? How can I get them corrected?

Try flushing the rewrite rules by going to Settings > Permalinks and simply clicking “Save Changes”.

Does your theme also include testimonials? Or do you have another testimonial plugin installed? If so, there may be a conflict.

No luck with flushing the rewrite rules. We had a previous testimonial – most likely came with the theme. How would I disable it?

Depends. This answer by Rarst on this thread is a good example. The theme author may be willing to help too.
