Hi
try to play with “Use guest email to detect registered account” option. If it’s unchecked please check and test, if it’s checked please uncheck and test. Screen: http://screencast.com/t/XjafjZp41zHO
Also, please make sure you use correct phrases for according user roles in wpDiscuz Phrases settings.

Hi,
thank you for the really quick reply.
I ticked the box and now the correct user is shown. But the role is not fetched correctly. User “Comment-Bot” is an author and should be colored red. But the user is still only a guest.
Phrases are alright, the user itself has also an avatar which is not displayed too.
Many thanks!
Then something is wrong with those users/comments, maybe those are imported users/comments or may be those have been created with non-regular method. wpDiscuz doesn’t have such issue, this problem definitely comes from users/comments data. Or maybe some other 3rd party solutions affects wpDiscuz. Please try to check with default theme and w/o other plugins.
Also there may be such a problem if the same user post comment as a member and as a guest, but use the same username/email. If you’re posting a comment without loggin you’ll always be Guest. that doesn’t matter you have account with the same username/email or not. And the “Use guest email to detect registered account” option is especially created to merge users/guests using email addresses. So you see that difference.

Ok, then it was a bug in a previous version. The comment gets created after a post is published so the “Comment-Bot” will never be logged in.
Thank you very much for your support!
